2013 Total War Scenario Game Series @ Action Paintball Games (Sydney & Perth)

Introduction:
Over the past few years we have seen a huge trend towards the scenario side of paintball in Australia. We have put together the most fun and in depth Scenario Paintball Games you will experience.

We will be running the games simultaneously on both sides of Australia, at both Action Paintball Games Sydney, and at Action Paintball Games Perth.

Points will be totalled from both sides of Australia for an event result and point total! Each event will have Special Operations and multiple objectives for each game.
 

    
How will the series work?
There are four combat theatres in the Total War Series;

You will get 3 x 1 hour games at each event, with each game being mission or theme oriented. There will be short break in between to secure food and supplies!

Points at each event will be accumulated for a total at the end of the last event, and the Winner of the Total War Series will be announced!
The Games:
The games are structured to use many of our battlefields combined into one massive battlefield. There are mission objectives and special operations for each event. The first 2 games are the same game but we switch team start bases so that each team has an opportunity to play each side of the field.

This allows teams to get an understanding of the field for the last massive mission. -smoke, pyrotechnics, sound, long battles and 3 x 1 hour games per event. There will be 10 minute respawns for each game, so respawns at 10, 20, 30,40, and 50 minute points during the games 1 hour time limit.

There will be at least 1 instant respawn base per team on the field, if the player touches his own base he is instantly back in the game.
 

 
Points System:
Achievement Points
Enemy Kill +2 Points
General Kill +15 Points
AWOL (Leave Game) -2 Points
Objective Held* +30 Points per objective
Special Operation** +10 Points per Op completed

* Tallied at the end of each game.
** Special Op's announced at each event.

The team with the most points at the end of the event will be declared the winner of that Theatre of War. Points will be posted on Monday after the event on Facebook, and australiapaintball.com. There are tons of different prizes on offer!
How are the teams arranged?
There are 2 teams in Total War. The Australian Special Air Services Regiment (SASR (Tan/Green)), and the Enemy Forces (Red). The enemy forces will assume different armies at each scenario. The teams will be the same and the Scenarios the same in both Sydney and Perth!

You do not need to be part of a team or unit; all you have to do is register and show up! You don’t even need your own gear or gun! Pricing is for people with their own gear and for people with no gear. Pick your side, Australian Special Air Service (SASR) or enemy forces! Enemy Forces will change at each event to the forces of that specific country.

Regardless of the enemy team (Iranian, Russian, Chinese) you are accumulating points for the enemy team. You may play on either team at any event, you just have to pick your side by registering online.

Each team will also have 2 special players, they are as follows:
 
Special Description
General The General is responsible for all troop movements and may only be eliminated by a vital shot, torso and head hits only. He will be marked by a Special Shermagh. If you shoot a General you will score +15 points for your team.*
Scout Each team will be allowed one scout. The scout will leave 30 seconds before the start of the game, and be able to relay vital intelligence to the Captain and General for game plans and strategy. There will be no extra points for shooting the scout.*

*Special players will be selected on australiapaintball.com or Facebook and are entitled to special benefits.

 
Registration:
At the Total War Scenario we will be using a complete online registration system where you will be able to pick your team, purchase your desired package, and purchase paintballs. You can also purchase paint on the day!

We also have offline registration forms, which you can fill out and email to us.

As the Total War Series is a Killer Paintballs Sponsored Event, Killer Paintballs will be available at all events at a reasonable price. Paint will range from $65.00 - $85.00 dollars per box of 2000 paintballs. Each player will have the choice of the type of paint at the events.
As an added bonus, any paintballs purchased at Action Paintball Games are allowed to be used for these events. This includes paint from Super 7s Events, and other Scenario games!

"ALL your gear to play" includes overalls, thermal goggles, ammo belt + pods and standard Model 98 semi auto paintball gun.
